No — most properties start with one. Plenty run UniFi's own portal and use GuestPass purely to issue vouchers. Simple Portals is for when you want the guest's first impression to be yours, and Block Pages only matters if you run Cisco Umbrella.
No. When a guest buys WiFi from your sign-in page, the money goes straight to your own Stripe account. We never hold it and never take a percentage.
Yes, any time, and each product independently. Moving your portal plan up or down doesn't touch your GuestPass plan, and dropping the portal leaves everything else running.
The local bridge agent checks in on an interval, and that interval is the ceiling on how long "create a voucher" or a guest getting online can take. Higher plans check in more often and feel instant.
No. The bridge agent makes outbound connections only — nothing is forwarded to your network and no inbound rule is needed.
